ENUF is an abbreviation for MNT's daily mantra "Every Need the Universe Fulfills" as well as a play on the word enough. Every piece in this collection has been made with reclaimed materials and is a celebration that we have all we need to create the lives that we want in every moment.
At ENUF we believe sustainability is about living and creating in a way that is good for our environment, our communities, our minds, bodies and spirits. With these values guiding our actions we create in small handmade batches, using reclaimed local materials, all with the intention to create a powerful emotional or sensory experience.
In addition to creating sustainable art pieces we want to empower others with this skill as well. We do this by providing tutorials on our blog and up-cycling classes in the community. If you would like to be notified about community events and new blog post please join our e-mail list.
"Unknowing" by MNT - 2020 - Digital Painting
Marissa N. Tolliver(MNT) is the artist and designer behind ENUF. MNT was born and raised in Oakland, CA but currently resides in the high desert of northern Nevada. She is inspired by afro-futurism, sustainability, brutalism, and the inner workings of the universe and our connection to it as humans. Her educational background is in apparel design and production, but she has been drawing people from the moment she could pick up a pencil. After taking a nearly 10 year break from all things creative she felt an urge to return to art to help process some deep emotions in 2019 and has not looked back since. She works in diverse mediums ranging from textiles to watercolors to vocals, all with the intention of capturing the transformative power of human emotion.
